After testing the Rohloff Speedhub during nearly 2000km this summer, I am now a convinced Rohloff user.
Here is my trekking bike, built to travel around the world :
I’ve built this Rohloff travelling bike whith Surly Ogre frame and fork. Tires are 28×2.0 inches Schwalbe Marathon Mondial Evo, that are very versatile, but I’ve discovered Surly’s Extra-terrestrial Tires 29×2.5 that are a perfect match with the Ogre, even more versatile than the Mondial Evo.
- Wheel Building : Rear wheel built with the Rohloff Speedhub and an Andra 30 Rim.
- I’ve built the front wheel previously with a Shutter Precision Dynamo Hub and a DT Swiss Trekking Rim.
